I recently stayed at Ellenbergs in Hessheim for one night. The hotel was incredibly clean and comfortable, and the owners were extremely accommodating. The breakfast selection was delicious, with an excellent variety of breads, cold meats, and cheese. The hotel also had a charming wisteria-covered courtyard where we enjoyed a fantastic dinner. The secure parking in the courtyard was perfect for our motorcycles.

One drawback we experienced was the room's east-facing position, which resulted in intense sunlight filling the room and making it uncomfortably hot. the thick drapes provided little relief from the heat, turning the room into a sauna.
